I know! I genuinely felt sorry for him, all those years of safe motoring, then all your confidence destroyed in a few seconds. Turns out he had jumped a light accidently, by the time he had selected his gear and pulled away the lights had gone red again.
On the plus side, the payout enabled me to buy the car back, get it fixed and install a full wide arch body kit! :-)
