Aided by an excessively chatty Irish Royal Marine,... I ended up chatting to a pretty young thing in the pub.
A few hours later, while downing shots at the bar, I managed to elbow this poor girl in the face.
We've been together for four months now, and she's beautiful.

Less so, now that you've elbowed her in the mushSomething similar happened to me once - was in bed with a lass and she elbowed me in the eye, then 10 seconds later I had elbowed her in the eye, I think subconsciously I wanted revenge!
