Oooh,
This moment has just sprung up in my mind from nowhere...

When I was about 13 or 14, I had a girl come up to me and say that her friend wanted to go out with me.

I was not very popular, I was insecure, and I was convinced that everything told me by someone who wasn't a proper friend (and 50% of what they told me) was bollocks designed to provide laughing-fodder for other people.

So I told her to Fuck Off.

I've wondered from time to time if this was a genuine request. I can't even remember who it was. But there's a chance that somewhere there is a woman who is scarred because her first experience of trying to (remotely) ask someone out was met with the answer 'Fuck Off'.

If that's true... Sorry...

Haha! I was once that insecure...
An extremely pretty girl at school once dangled mistletoe over my head, and I told her to go and take the piss out of someone else.
10 years later it turns out that no piss-taking was being committed...

I reckon a lot of people had this reaction
I had a very similar situation at probably the same age, almost identical reaction. Looking back, it all seems so silly now!

Oh, bollocks
I had exactly the same thing, except the girl asking me out for her mate was the girl of my dreams, you know the one you you try to talk to but your tongue swells up to twice its size and time stands still.

Bugger

Sounds familiar
I got asked to this prom thing by the best looking girl in our class. I was a big geek and assumed it was a joke so said no. She sat on the floor with her head in her knees and started crying. Didn't I feel great?
