I still
Can't step on the cracks in the pavement.

Hull and Glasgow are the only two places I've been where the pavingstones are of the right size for me to walk at my usual gait and naturally avoid the cracks.

That is the best thing I can say about Hull or Glasgow.

Tile floors - I have to only step on every other tile. This is easier when you have large quarry tiles like at my parent's house where this habit was forged, but not so easy when the tiles are those tiny little ones. Or those massive squares of carpet.
