This is a question The most childish thing you've done as an adult

Davros' Grandad confesses: On visiting my ex-wife's house, I wiped my bum on the toothbrush belonging to the bloke she ran off with. At least, I thought it was his toothbrush.

I still occasionally
run up the stairs on all fours. The burst of speed is glorious.

Only occasionally?
I found myself doing it at work once. The funny looks meant I had to start using the lifts.

My house is some rickety old Victorian house
like something out of a Tim Burton film. The stairs are very steep, so I find myself doing this all the time. Mostly for fun, but I like having the 'steep stairs' excuse just in case I'm ever spotted.

thats the way to do it.
Perfect centre of gravity, thrust from all four limbs. Ah if only the world were on a slope.

Oh god yes
I used to do this all the time and pretend to be Spider-Man!

I was showing my son how to slide down the stairs yesterday..
..using his bum and not his back, to avoid friction burnage.

He's 5 - I'm 33.

As for going upstairs - I still have the occasional 'Spidey Crawl' up now and then heheh..

Wasn't this the top answer
in the guilty pleasures QOTW? Or similar?

I can understand why. I did it at my brother's house the other night... it was only a flight of about 10 stairs. But they are steep and it was a real joy! He did an understanding chuckle as he came up the stairs behind me... The love of the Four Legged Scamper is ubiquitous.

Mercy me
You're right - it's in part 2. Guess it must be more popular than I thought. I don't know what it says about me that it's infinitely more comfortable to scale stairs this way. Until the lumbago kicks in, obviously
