I used to work opposite 200 Grays Inn Road where ITN is
and used to do afternoons/evenings in a wine bar called 'Tavs' Sir Trev used to frequent, so got to know him. As far as I could work out, he must have been quite tanked up by the time he actually read the news. Genuinely nice guy though

He seemed very nice.

We'd politely nod at each but never speak.
