I went to one of these,but spent much of my time playing Fighting Fantasy books, which has probably doomed my soul.
ours was called Covenanters, and there was a summer camp, too.

Fighting Fantasy?Now you're talking. I remember buying Dead of Night on a trip to Bath. Then scaring myself shitless on the car journey home in the pitch black. I was eight years old though.
