I don't understand the attractionSmaug says: Ricky Gervais. Lesbian pr0n. Going into a crowded bar, purely because it's crowded. All these things seem to be popular with everybody else, but I just can't work out why. What leaves you cold just as much as it turns everyone else on?

I'm one of those atheiststhat don't tell people how to live their lives and respects the individual belief. Religion is one of my favourite studies and i don't even believe in God.

IDont, I realise Im generalising. I think my (poorly made) point was more about people thinking they are somehow morally/intellectually superior.

I agreeI too cannot believe in a man in the sky, or a book that has been translated so many times over so many years (around 250 of which by word of mouth alone).
However, I do think that anyone that does is mental.
I just don't tell them very often.
(although, I do sometimes bait some of the Facebook religeous groups when bored, so I suppose I am the opitome of what you decribe actually).
