This is a question I don't understand the attraction

Smaug says: Ricky Gervais. Lesbian pr0n. Going into a crowded bar, purely because it's crowded. All these things seem to be popular with everybody else, but I just can't work out why. What leaves you cold just as much as it turns everyone else on?

Millions of people can be wrong:
Tony Hancock was truly dreadful. The Blood Donor sketch is one of the most over-rated pieces of "comedy" ever written and, worse still, performed.

Charlie Chaplin. What a cunt.

And Scouse so-called wit.

Agreed on one point - the Blood Donor TV sketch is an overrated, poorly and lazily performed piece of television (Hancock couldn't be arsed to learn it so read it via autocue)
Tony Hancock the man however was very funny. His radio comedy (including the Blood Donor) is far, far superior to his later TV work, which for me never really captured the mood and facial expressions I imagined while listening to the radio.

.
That really is an oxymoron if there ever was one, Scouse and Wit.

hmmm
i'm not sure if i should be offended by this. i've always believed myself to be a scouser, although due to the fact that i live roughly a quarter of a mile outside the city limits, i'm technically not.
then again, i do know some truly stupid people in liverpool.
