This is a question I don't understand the attraction

Smaug says: Ricky Gervais. Lesbian pr0n. Going into a crowded bar, purely because it's crowded. All these things seem to be popular with everybody else, but I just can't work out why. What leaves you cold just as much as it turns everyone else on?

I don't enjoy 'fun'

If anything is described as being 'fun' - I won't like it. Best example is 'Fun Fair' - not fun and almost certain to be not fair. Circuses, theme parks, nights on the lash, holidays on the beach, nightclubs, fancy dress parties, works outings.

"Come on Che, it'll be fun."
"No it fucking won't be. Piss off and have your fun, but leave me out."

And, no. It's not just my age. I've never liked fun.

would this include...
... "must-see movies"? i've still never ever seen Ghandi, Chariots of Fire, the English Patient, Gone With The Wind etc

Kind of,

I've never seen (believe it or not) Titanic, The Full Monty, any Austin Powers film, Bridgit Jones film or any James Bond younger than Roger Moore. Add any film with the words 'dance' or 'dancing' in the title. I could go on.

I have seen Ghandi and Chariots of Fire though.

I've never seen Ghandi
Nor the far more well-known film Gandhi.

Not keen on a wank from time-to-time?
That's five minutes of fun, right there

Ah, but that's fun...
...not 'fun'.

There is a difference you know.

just for this: "not fun and almost certain to be not fair".

6 quid for a burger that my cat would turn his nose up at, and 3 quid a fucking ride for 2 kids.

I went to one recently (can you tell), and I was about 90 quid down by the time I'd come home, and I did bugger all.
