My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

common shoppersas a former asda employee it would grate to see people walking around 'trying before they buy', more common still is when they finish and stuff the empty packet behind one of the displays, thinking you will not notice.
not only is this common, it is common stealing.
Also common is come the end of the day when the fresh food is reduced to rediculously low prices, some chav comes up and asks to you reduce it further, implying that 9p is a rip off!!
