My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

Ah, but celebrities can be common.Lots of them are. Beckham & wifey, Paris Hilton (ironically) etc. come to mind.
Although there seem to be two groups who do the stupid names thing, chav scum and pretentious middle-class-trying-to-be-posh families...
