My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

Well..in its defence, John Peel was a big fan.
But he is all dead and stuff now.
I don't mind straight up 'hardcore' or 'gabba'...there is a certain amount of honesty in it, you want thumping 4x4 with added squaks and screeches, then there ye are, sorted. The 'happy' element, with its chipmunk vocoded vocals is dire though...
