My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

ICH BIN EIN HAMBURGER!Well there you go. As one of the many things you take for granted as you grow up, never before have I questioned the origin of the humble hamburger. And yes, it IS a hamburger, never a beefburger.
