My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

After 6 years in Hullmy accent has become infected with the Hull accent. And with another 2 to go it's not going to change. My own accent now depresses me. I can no longer pronounce the word 'five' properly.
