My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

Like BK saidEach to their own. For what it's worth, I'm with Piper Alpha. I don't find tattoos and piercings at all attractive. Quite the reverse in fact.
But they are popular, and many folk love them. So good on them if they do.
