My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

If I had to define 'common',I'd have to say "A soft, staple fiber that grows around the seeds of the gossypium plant, a shrub native to tropical and subtropical regions around the world." Mind you, I am dyslexic.
