Common
Freddy Woo writes, "My wife thinks calling the front room a lounge is common. Worse, a friend of hers recently admonished her daughter for calling a toilet, a toilet. Lavatory darling. It's lavatory."
My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.
What stuff do you think is common?

Don't forget......
..........Blacon.
I live in Hoole. Apparently Hoole is posh, I didn't realise that when I moved here ten years ago, but it means that a 2 bed terraced costs about the same as a solid gold Roll Royce filled with teenage virgins covered in caviar waving bottle of Bollinger.
Excuse me, I need to lie down for a minute.
