Common
Freddy Woo writes, "My wife thinks calling the front room a lounge is common. Worse, a friend of hers recently admonished her daughter for calling a toilet, a toilet. Lavatory darling. It's lavatory."
My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.
What stuff do you think is common?

Or get a real job rather than scrounging benefit...
...then you could perhaps afford a real German car with a decent trim level. Something like... oh... the A4 Quattro in SE trim (for comfort) or S-line trim (for handling if you don't mind a hard ride).
Of course I'd take an Audi A4 over a Mondeo... but I'd take a 2 litre Mondeo over a 1.6 A4. Believe it or not they did make an A4 with a 1.6 litre engine, a car that weighs about 1.6 tons. 0-60 takes about 16 seconds in it, compared to 7.5 seconds in my 2 litre A4.

Audi
People do tend to point and shout cock at German saloons and most Audi's including my R8 which I think rules. I hear what your saying having a 2 litre Mondeo over a 1.6 Audi, but I'd go with the x type Jag over the Mondeo as it's quicker, but go 3 litre for the 4 wheel drive and powwwwwer!
