My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

We have these piled in our kitchen at workI love the "readers photos" sections where mad old biddies have made curtains out of newspaper or knitted scarves out of seaweed in an attempt to save money.
They usually have "EXCLUSIVE!" stories from members of the public like "My brother slept with my girlfriend then decided he was gay and ate my cat!"
Sort of like Jeremy Kyle, but in print.
