My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

I find that brown sauce is a natural toddler-repellent...it stops them nicking your chips after they get a mouthful of brown sauce on the first chip. They don't try taking me food after that.
