 Common
CommonFreddy Woo writes, "My wife thinks calling the front room a lounge is common. Worse, a friend of hers recently admonished her daughter for calling a toilet, a toilet. Lavatory darling. It's lavatory."
My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.
What stuff do you think is common?

 No no no...
No no no...Pour a little water into the teapot to warm it - if you have an insulated teapot then skip this step.
Add 1 heaped teaspoon of tea leaves per person, plus one for the pot.
Pour BOILING water (not luke-warm or just off the boil, it has to be boiling and still bubbling in the kettle) and fill the teapot. Stir well.
Leave for 7 minutes to brew.
Take one clean cup or mug, add milk and sugar to taste, top off with freshly brewed tea.
Serve with Rich Tea biscuits.
Enjoy responsibly.
