My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

Wakefield, never!I have had many a lovely day there! Watching the wee duckies in the river, sitting in the sun on the hill (watching more wee duckies) in the big park, seeing how far I can look up at the cathedral without feeling the need to fall over from backwards vertigo...
I have yet to be taken to Sandal Castle but I await the visit happily!
