This is a question Common

Freddy Woo writes, "My wife thinks calling the front room a lounge is common. Worse, a friend of hers recently admonished her daughter for calling a toilet, a toilet. Lavatory darling. It's lavatory."

My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

What stuff do you think is common?

I'll let the photo speak for itself.
Here is the Republican candidate for Vice President and her daughter.

I really can think of nothing to add to this.

Well
I hope that you're registered and will be voting Obama.

I can just see the collective waves of suicide in the deep South.

"Dang! We got a NEGRO as president" BLAM!

And, for your education mate, I suggest you read this guy:

jblaque.livejournal.com/

He's my second favourite American writer - after your good self of course.

Read his shit. I think you'll like it.

Cheers

Thanks!
I'll check him out this evening when I get home.

Yes, I'm registered and am voting for Obama. So is everyone else I know. And best of all, so are my parents- two of the most die-hard Republicans you could find, both of whom really dislike McCain.

I'm predicting it won't be much of a contest.

She
scares me, God help us all if McCain won, and then died, leaving her in charge.
