This is a question Common

Freddy Woo writes, "My wife thinks calling the front room a lounge is common. Worse, a friend of hers recently admonished her daughter for calling a toilet, a toilet. Lavatory darling. It's lavatory."

My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

What stuff do you think is common?

Scrunching and not folding the Bathroom Tissue!

"Scrunchers"
How did you both form your opinion on "scrunchers"?

Do you watch people on the toilet, or just tell them not to flush so you can inspect the bowl after they have finished?

i don't understand the scrunching vs folding.. like really, who watches anyone do their business on the toilet and stands by to watch them clean themselves up afterward?

it certainly has to be common to have a scrunching/folding preference...

I'm in disagreement
with you about pork scratchings. Pork-rindy food of the gods I tells ya!
Eating on the phone is a big no-no and as for the bog-roll, folding is best.
