My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

Against my better judgementI agree with nearly all of this, in particular the frozen peas. The only acceptable frozen food.
Can I add the American habit of calling a team/sportsman "winningest" as in "He is the winningest pitcher since.. blah blah blah?"
How has that been allowed into use?
