My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

My wife has one...but she's a pagan. We also have things like Athames and scrying mirrors in the house, but, again, they aren't just for show.
I don't buy religion at all - I can see the psychological need for it in some cases, but I'm a scientist by trade and I am thus unmoved by any system of belief. However, it brings my wife comfort and I view her religion as just as valid as any other. In fact, it's very interesting and I can understand a lot more of the logic behind it than I can in Judaism, Islam, etc, which have no basis on the individual or the reality of peoples' existence.
