My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

As a happy little Ka driverIt's a 'Ka' to rhyme with 'car' up until you have to talk to mechanics and the like.
"What sort of car is it?"
"It's a Ford Ka."
"Yes, mate, but what sort of Ford?"
"It's a kay eh."
"Oh, a Ka."
