This is a question Common

Freddy Woo writes, "My wife thinks calling the front room a lounge is common. Worse, a friend of hers recently admonished her daughter for calling a toilet, a toilet. Lavatory darling. It's lavatory."

My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

What stuff do you think is common?

Shame on you who're mocking her.
She's been found dead, probably murdered, and leaving her child motherless. Not funny at all.

Indeed
It's not like b3ta to be full of distasteful jokes...

Not normally aimed at a named individual who's done nobody here any harm
and who has recently been found murdered, though.

I clicked it before reading the replies
and feel rather guilty as though I've invaded her privacy now. It's awful. How can a young girl go missing for 18 months without anyone seemingly realising?

Good point but I can't say I'm surprised..

I didn't know what this was initially about (aint seen much news over the last few days)
I've just read up on
www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article1831634.ece
Not good at all.

Oh I don't know...
Depends on what you judge these things by...

Oh bugger, another trip to Hull.

Shame indeed
Mocking of truly stupid tasteless individuals who live next door is one thing but mocking a girl who you don't know who has been found dead and left her little girl without a mother is another. Have you ever seen the photos of an excavation of a shallow grave, the body after? Have you any idea what it's like to be one of those people having to pick up the pieces after such a truly awful act? Do you know what it is to lose a daughter, even is family life has never been ideal? If the answer to any of those is yes than you ought to be ashamed. I've always read b3ta because it puts a witty spin on things that a true, not mercilessly cheapens human life.
