This is a question Common

Freddy Woo writes, "My wife thinks calling the front room a lounge is common. Worse, a friend of hers recently admonished her daughter for calling a toilet, a toilet. Lavatory darling. It's lavatory."

My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

What stuff do you think is common?

My old boss did this to me
there were two fo us in the office and she bought us in a bottle shaped present, James opened his and it was a nice bottle round about the 8 quid mark. I presumed she bought us the same said thank you so much commenting on how much I liked that particular wine but left mine wrapped and took it home. I opened it with dinner that night and discovered a bottle of wine flavoured antifreeze infused £1.50 a bottle tramps piss.

We drank it anyway.
