This is a question The B3TA Confessional

With the Pope about to visit the UK, what better time to unburden yourself of anything that's weighing on your mind by posting it on the internet? Pay particular attention to the Seven Deadly Sins of lust, greed, envy, pride, posting puns on the QOTW board and the other ones. Top story gets to kneel before His Holiness's noodly appendage, or something

I wonder how many young boys
Old Ratzinger fingered or worse...
Makes all my lies and shit seem pretty miniscule.
So let's call it even, the pope allows little boy buggery and still speaks for God, so everything else short of murder seems ok... Agreed?
What's worse, a condom, or raping a 9 year old altar boy?

/await shitstorm

Not a shitstorm
but I think it's sad when very genuine and valid criticisms of the conduct of the Church become sullied by pointless and nonsensical slurs.

By all means, have a go at the Pope for his complicity and/or complacency in ignoring or covering up child abuse in the past, but suggesting he himself has ever been involved, without any evidence, is a little bit out of order, no?

It's the sort of thing that isn't going to change the minds of the Faithful and is probably going to make a lot of people who might otherwise agree with your point think that you might just be a bit daft.

googling it
Pretty much says he most likely did it, so, imo the odds are he did. I feel he must've done something if he defends it.
(, Tue 31 Aug 2010, 1:02, closed)
Not necessarily
He'd be defending the institution of which he is somewhat a part by covering up minor things like institutionalised child-fucking, to protect its good name (ha!).

Let's not forget terrorism

(, Tue 31 Aug 2010, 9:06, closed)
Let's see...
Complicit, if not actually indulging, in child molestation; encouraging unprotected sex in countries where AIDS infection rates are in double digits; stating that homosexuality is un-natural (when most of the child molestation listed above is with little boys - go figure); and being a member of the Nazi youth.*

Unless I actually start pissing in fonts in churches**, I'm pretty sure I'll be alright.

*I may have missed some stuff out
**Which sounds kinda fun

Regarding point *
You didn't get much of a choice back then.
The rest of it, though, stands.
(, Tue 31 Aug 2010, 0:51, closed)
So that makes it perfectly all right
and then he grew up to be head of an organisation that was *very* supportive of Adolf during those difficult years and didn't actually get around to renouncing its own anti-semitism until twenty years after the war finished

wait, I smell a Ratzinger
(, Tue 31 Aug 2010, 9:05, closed)
Aye, I forgave him the part about being in the HitlerJugend
cause it sounded like pretty desperate attempt at a slur.

The rest, though, still stands. It's very hard to be a worse human being than the Pope.
(, Tue 31 Aug 2010, 9:06, closed)
So peeing in the baptismal font is still an option?

(, Tue 31 Aug 2010, 22:04, closed)
Using a condom while raping an altar boy would be the worst.
Trust me, ribs don't enhance the feelings.

Heeeee's...
...Popey the Cafflick man
He's Popey the Cafflick man
