There's a world of difference between making a joke about rape and going out and doing itwhereas the line between racist jokes and racism is a little blurred.
At any rate, the OP wasn't making a joke, so the comparison you draw between rape jokes and this is pretty irrelevant.

Not entirelyI wouldn't say irrelevant, the OP was making racist jokes with her friend - rather like people make rape/paedo jokes on here - not actually going out throwing burning crosses on lawns and lynching black people.
