Conned

Have you carried out a successful con? Perhaps you hustled a few quid off a stranger, or defrauded a multi-national company. Or have you been taken for the wide-eyed, naive rube that you are?

Free drinks
Being fortunate enough to be on the good looking side of average I have never had to work to pull ladies in a bar or club. This has now got to the point where if I'm really not interested in pulling that night, I will now frankly take the piss.
I will wait for you to chat me up, will expect you to buy the drinks to lubricate my sparkling conversation, then give you a pay-as-you-go fake number at the end of the night for you to leave pathetic messages on which my friends and I will play back and laugh at. I will never con you into thinking you have a chance but I won't exactly correct you if you somehow get the wrong idea and choose to lavish me with drinks all night.
I somehow think of it as poetic justice for the thousands of girls that do it to us menfolk up and down the country on a nightly basis.

But you can get away with this
because you don't risk being "date raped" if the girl in question realises you've been leading her on.

That happened to me tonight
I've just got home from a night on the lash with some workmates, in which one of our very attractive employees spent a fair bit of time cozying up to me, lighting my fags, putting his arm around me and generally sitting in my lap. He then basically moved onto my friend who, although lovely, is a tad immature and a total emo.
I'm rather fucked off - actually, I'm extremely fucked off - but I console myself that he has to cop off with emo lady, which is BOUND to be its own reward.
And if all else fails, I'll just go slops.

Normally I'd condemn such behaviour
But this chap has a point.
Was visiting Chicagos in Norwich last year while staying with a friend. Within two minutes a large crowd of friendly ladies invited us to join them. Within four minutes they invited us to buy all six of them drinks. My friend and I did the decent thing, asked them what they wanted and fled the place without looking back.
It's not that we were lacking the means or the chivalry, but I'm damned if I'm going to be taken for a mug by someone who seriously thinks that me funding her drinks all night is a great return on a level of conversation and wit which cannot stretch beyond screeching "innit! Nahahahaha!" every ten seconds.

GMF
Depends how big and strong the girl is in comparison to you...
Always go for a big girl - add the element of danger!
Not all men are potential rapists, any more than all women play on men's romantic (sexual) gullibility!
