The message is the media
As I've mentioned before, when I had a mental breakdown some years ago, one of the symptoms was hearing/seeing messages aimed at me in the media. This chap describes exactly what it was like!
The only differences is that he has lost the awareness of how ridiculous the idea is, and has let it take over his life. I always knew it was utter tot, and could laugh at them.

it's a testament to the speed of the mind
and how vague the english language is that anything can be percieved as a threat or criticism, as long as that is what you're expecting - i wish i could use those powers productively somehow
