Having children when you can't afford to raise them is pretty much the definition of irresponsible

And anyone whose income drops beneath the level initially required to reproduce should have their children forcibly removed and euthanased.

I suspect that a 'poor' person could probably do a damn fine job of raising a child
But 5? Maybe not. Is it fair for the children to be born into a family that cannot support it? I don't believe it is.

regardless of wealth, having your attention divided between 5 children is going to make parenting difficult
