if it moves and it shouldn't then use wd40.
if it shouldn't and it does then use gaffer tape.

I thought WD40 was a lubricant - ie if it shouldn't move, you'd want to stop it, not help it?

it is proper intentional, on a number of levels.
when you think about it there's LOADS of sicko mileage in wd40 and gaffer tape.
