Fair play. I thought it would make a better story than, "The rather slow gentleman on the other side of the line was rather tardy in connecting the logic of borrowing another phone, and I had to spend an extra 80p convincing him that I was phoning in from a various device and had a valid complaint, to which he suggested that I buy a new TOP OF THE RANGE phone, and didn't really help me."
