You're not alone
Similar thing happened to me, except they kept claiming they had the wrong information on a form, turns out they hadn't even sent the bloody thing. Kept chasing me, had threats of court summons and even someone call round to the house to ask when I was going to pay up, my response kept being show me all the evidence that you have fulfilled your side and I'll pay up, haven't heard anything for over 3 years now and despite the fact we could probably get money, 2 kids now and the money would be handy I refuse to have anything to do with them for worry the same damn thing will happen again.
