What, the place in Oxford that had the mattresses encased in plastic (crinkly noises all night), the place in Blackpool where the night manager would drum to the music on his ipod on the corridor walls as he did his rounds, or the place in Lancaster where the two single beds(!) collapsed through metal fatigue?

I had a load of stoner mates who had some novel ideas for furtniture repairsOne evening I had to sleep on the sofa. Unfortunately the day before it had collapsed from over use. Some bright spark had replaced all the nice springs and stuff with a mixture of bricks and breezeblocks, He put the cushions back and it looked as good as new.
Despite the vast quantities of (ahem) anesthetic it was about as soft as a pile of rubble and to add injury to insult a badly constructed part collapsed in the night, leading me to bang my head and chip a tooth.
