What, the place in Oxford that had the mattresses encased in plastic (crinkly noises all night), the place in Blackpool where the night manager would drum to the music on his ipod on the corridor walls as he did his rounds, or the place in Lancaster where the two single beds(!) collapsed through metal fatigue?

Travelodgei stayed in a travelodge once and the manager was serving behind the bar, blind drunk. as in, totally sodding legless. she gave me 2 free pints because i said they were flat after drinking them. said 'black russian please' and got a white rum, dark rum and (diet - ick) coke?? wasnt nice but drank anyway. she started crying after a while after saying she wasnt even supposed to be working(?) and had been for two days. complete farce. room was nice tho.
