Back paying?Isn't there a limitations clause or something? I really doubt they can expect you to pay for 4 years worth of gas.

Yeah you'd think thatI actually WAS paying, but Scottish Power (I dont care if I name them) didnt amend my direct debit for 4 years.
So they then decide I have to pay 400 quid a month to rectify the problem and pay it off in a year or I go on a pre payment.
I have written to the ombudsman but I dont hold out much hope :(
NB: I got the pre payment metre and told em, screw you - it took four years to build up you can wait four years to get it back. AND im not paying interest.
