The Credit Crunch
Did you score a bargain in Woolworths?
Meet someone nice in the queue to withdraw your 10p from Northern Rock?
Get made redundant from the job you hated enough to spend all day on b3ta?
How has the credit crunch affected you?

News Coverage has made me stressed.
What really annoys me is the continual use of sentences by the Media like: 'This is the worst financial downturn/job loss/blah blah blah during a recession in 17 years'.
What?
You mean the worst since the last recession, 17 years ago?!
This kind of sensationalism can't be truing up the economy exactly.... and if I see that stupid red downward facing arrow one more time....!

Journalistic copyfest.
On the plus side, it seems to have temporarily displaced "a perfect storm" or "the perfect storm" from the pages.
Until some fecker realises the whole climate/storm thing. Like, y'know, how they're words about the same sort of things and all.
At that point I may have to travel to Fleet Street, and take Affirmative Action.
Luckily when you murder someone, people mostly tend to assume you've merely been particularly inept at dying your hair red, so it's not so bad really.

What I love is
News: 'Unemployment has increased by 4.7%!'
Me 'Over what period of time? 1 year? 5 years? 6 months?'
News: 4.7%!
I love how sky news can just scream a number at you to make things worse than they seem.
