This is a question The Credit Crunch

Did you score a bargain in Woolworths?
Meet someone nice in the queue to withdraw your 10p from Northern Rock?
Get made redundant from the job you hated enough to spend all day on b3ta?

How has the credit crunch affected you?

From reading what most people have written here
no one is being affected by the 'credit crunch'.

So is it fair to say that it doesn't really exist and has just been made up by the media?

Everyone is affected.
Your government just stole a big lump of your money and gave it to the banks.

In Ireland, the government have increased a tax levy of 1-3% depending on income.

No,
no, no, no, no!

well
money doesn't really exist -- it's just a virtual artifact derived from our cultural peculiarities.

Therefore a current (cultural) prediliction for not lending amounts of this virtual object has an even lesser connection to reality. The credit crunch is doubly virtual, and doubly non-existant.

Yes.
It's all made up by the powers that be who like to control the population by means of fear. There is plenty of evidence linking the appearance of this control mechanism to the rise of thatcherism in the UK (aided by the noted looney John Nash) with the declaration "there is no such thing as society"....

..It's just like Global Warming, which also doesn't exist. And Peak Oil, another well known myth....

but... do you want to take the risk?
