After playing on Peaceful mode for a good monthI've been finally brave enough to change the settings to normal.
Died once (to a creeper), and managed to kill one of everything. So pretty happy with myself.
So I tend to build a small base (Big enough for a chest and a crafting table. If I travel any length of distance from my main base.
Once when I made a Quarry, I made two bases for it. One at the top and one near the bottom of it.
