The last thing that made me cry
I wept for my cat last week despite trying to be all hard and manly. What's made you cry recently?

Not quite the last time
but perhaps the earliest, most serious cry I had was when I was young. I was about 10, and one of my Aunties got married. I remember going up to see bride and groom after the reception and seeing him my new Uncle getting changed for the honeymoon. “I’m your Uncle!” he said through ecstatic tears. He was a great Uncle, he always played the computer with me when he came over and treated me like a man, not a boy. I remember vividly we were playing PGA Tour on the megadrive, he had brought PGA over as he knew how much I liked playing games, and I offered him some Hubba Bubba, but he said no, he had a really sore stomach.
It turned out he had stomach cancer. Didn’t find out until it was too late and it killed him, only half a year after his marriage. When I found out he was dying, I cried for hours and hours and hours.
Paul, I loved you man.
