What Makes You Cry?
That bit in the Railway Children when Jenny Agutter says "Daddy! My Daddy!". Gets me every time. I am 48 years old.

You do realise it's pretend.
The 'gladiator' is an Australian bloke called Russell Crowe. He's wearing a costume and people have told him what to say and where to stand to give the appearance that there was a general who became a gladiator and then killed the Emperor, but none of it ever happened, and what you saw was all pretend, so no I didn't cry, because I don't think a make believe death is sad.
