I have a friend like that.I moved back to the UK after a few years away and proceeded to call him out on everything he proclaimed in the pub one night. "Fuck," he said, "I forgot you knew me".
Also, slightly unrelated I get the opposite with my mum. If I don't know something then she thinks she just hasn't explained it clearly enough so has another go. Drives me mad...
