Dad has a shoe problemDear old Dad managed to get himself banned from the reasonably priced shoe shop in town for bringing back a pair of shoes that had fallen apart on him 6 months after purchase. He thought that his shoes should have lasted longer than that and after much shouting the Manageress agreed to replace them as long as he never went back to the shop again. To register his displeasure he promptly marched out and now will only wear DMs from the local farmers outlet. These typically give him crippling blisters for at least 6 months from day of purchase but at least he is happy now.

DMsI've been wearing Royal Mail surplus DMs for years bought on ebay. They are cushioned at the top and I haven't had a blister wearing them They do have Royal Mail discretely embossed in at the heal but it can't be seen.
