A colleague has just got an electric pencil sharpener on his desk.We keep shortening his pencils by a few centimetres every day after he leaves. Does that count?

Yeah, but it's the wanton generation of shavings that makes us feel a bit bad.We've been putting the shavings into the recycling bin to assuage our discomfiture.
