DentistsMy current dentist is called Mr Stiff.
Back when I was at university though, I had enormous pain in my jaw one morning - so bad I went as an emergency case to the uni dentist.
He took one look at the back of my mouth and said, "Ah, wisdom teeth. Impacted. They'll have to come out."
He then reached under the chair and came out with an enormous industrial (and entirely non-dental) pair of pliers, "I can do it now if you want..."

Awesome-FearWhen I was 14, I had to have a tooth removed. It never fell out when it was supposed to, and so the replacement tooth had floated off in my gums knocking other teeth out of the way, or some other weird dentist thing. Either way it left me with a huge hole in the roof of my mouth and a bunch of wires pulling the rogue tooth into place.
So I went to see the oral surgeon. His name was Dr Fear.
I later learned that his wife was also a dentist, but she'd kept her maiden name: Dr Awesome. If they had hyphenated their surnames instead, there would be TWO dentists unbeatably named...
